Becoming a leader and maintaining leadership status in not all that easy but is in itself a struggle as there are many positive and negative actions that help someone to maintain or lose their status.
To me i have tested both sides of the menu. I have struggled to pull myself up while some or so of the people i have so far come across try to pull me down when they come into my life either as employees or as business partners. Imagine someone coming to you begging to get employed, at first because you do not have a place for them you refuse them a place but because they are good at manipulating people you end up agreeing to engage them, as soon as they are in all hell broke loose, they grow fat to an extent of trying to push you out of what you believe is yours and at times even try to eliminate you using other ways, i have been a victims of many pushovers and coups, and when they fail on their mission they will make sure that they destroy everything that makes the organisation before or after they leave .
It happened in 2000 during the inception of the organisation with the first two co-founders and they failed, it happen again in 2005 with the first employees the organisation engaged, again in 2007 during the Global March Against child labour , a physical March from Harare to Plum-Tree and again in 2008 and i thought it was the end, but i was wrong as the same situation could happen again in 2010 by one of the employees i so much trusted and took with me to China for an official visit with invitation from NGOs in that country, i ended up behaving like i am the one who have been invited by this lady whom i have taken with me to China who was now trying to pull me down before the hosts. The woman in question later resigned as soon as we set our foot back into the country and got herself employed by my friend and partner who has so far been turned against me. The last of this happened in year 2011; i again took someone with me to Kenya to attend a China Africa forum when the person who accompanied me also come back home and started to work against me. Oh how can one ever be able to trust one when it seems as if all people are just after power, even if you try to share what you have with them, they will demand more even all that you have. Imagine someone trusted to the point of being given the organisation’s e-mail passwords, when they left the organisation they opened this e-mail write letters to all partners with information that could destroy the organisation and after that delete all the e-mails and other information in the e-mail box including sent, junk, achieves items.
