In the picturesque village of Achowa , nestled within the northern region of Uganda, a remarkable gathering unfolded. Two hundred women farmers converged under the banner of the Farmer’s Pride International Rural and Urban Agriculture Innovative Production Program (RUAIPP) . Hosted by the visionary organization Destiny Community Development Initiative (DECODI) , this transformative workshop focused on potato farming and processing skills and knowledge transfer . The women, with their hands in the soil and hearts ablaze with purpose, embarked on a journey of learning, empowerment, and community building. Their presence signifies not just a workshop, but a movement—a movement that transcends boundaries and cultivates hope for a prosperous future.
